The Annual Awards of the Florida Association for Theatre Education recognize outstanding leadership in arts education, motivate excellence, and draw public attention to the accomplishments of school arts leadership.
Nominations for the FATE Awards must be postmarked by October 1, 2024.
Awards will be presented at the annual conference in October.
Awards will be given in the categories of:
Outstanding Theatre Arts Educator
Outstanding Administrator
Outstanding Arts Advocate
Outstanding Legislator
Please attach a letter of recommendation which documents the nominee’s leadership in support of school arts programs to this application.
Include any additional information you judge relevant to support the application.
Upon receipt of this application, the FATE Awards Committee will inform the nominee of the nomination and will request biographical data to complete the process.
CRITERIA FOR SELECTION
- The nominee must be an active advocate for the arts and for arts education.
- The nominee must demonstrate leadership in support of school arts programs.
- The nominee AND nominator must be members of FATE in good standing
